This approach includes an IT architecture strategy that encompasses a secure, cloud smart, and data centric approach embedded within the COMET BPA acquisition strategy resulting in the unification of people, process, and technology in a single vision.
Our COMET BPA vendor partners develop and modernize the FAS business systems in FCS, taking advantage of the guardrails, common tools, and shared services within the cloud ecosystem taking advantage of sound design patterns, standard practices, re-use frameworks, and a tried-and-true set of common capabilities. This ultimately improves the speed to market and the interoperability between the systems developed by our multiple vendor partners.
FCS provides value through its secure and flexible architecture, however, the most important aspect comes in the form of professional services - developing and maintaining the shared services and business systems as a cloud ecosystem.
Our COMET BPA vendor partners develop and modernize the FAS business systems in FCS, taking advantage of the guardrails, common tools, and shared services within the cloud ecosystem taking advantage of sound design patterns, standard practices, re-use frameworks, and a tried-and-true set of common capabilities. The Federalist platform includes support for blogs, customizable web pages, a search interface, built-in site analytics, the ability to host and view data visualizations, and connect to Cloud.gov storage via an Application Program Interface (API). The Federalist platform uses a public code hosting service to load and store code for websites (e.g., GitHub). Federalist requires familiarity and technical competence with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Gatsby, GitHub, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Hugo, JavaScript, Jekyll, and Node.js software languages and toolsets.
